Texas Champion Martial Arts Programs
(Pearland)

Mighty Mights 3-5 year olds

(Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30)

Our Mighty Mights (M&M) program will bring out the best in the 3-5 year old. The

Mighty Might class is a Pre Karate class that is good, clean fun for kids...and a great

way to give kids a head start in life. At Texas Champion Martial Arts, they'll learn the

positive benefits of self-discipline and confidence, develop coordination and

increase strength and flexibility.

Junior Champions 5-13 year old (Beginners meet Tues. & Thurs. @ 5, Mon. & Wed. @ 6PM)

This program teaches the students the basic Chun Kuk Do and self defense

techniques including blocks, punches, kicks, and stances. It is a program that allows

us to teach the student how to be martial artists, developing them to be a black belt

from the inside out. Because a structure of respect is built into our programs,

children develop the ability to listen, learn, and achieve within a highly related

environment.

This proves to be an excellent reinforcement of study techniques for school.

Adult Chun Kuk Do Program 13+ (Adults Meet Mon. @ 8 & Wed. 7:30 P.M.)

The martial arts program will instill in its students the principles of the martial arts, such as self-

discipline, concentration, and physical fitness. Students will progress by training and testing for

different belt levels. Once a month Texas Champion Martial Arts will highlight a cardio

kickboxing class and a self-defense class.

Cardio Kickboxing (Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 7:30 PM

Cardio-kickboxing is an intense total body workout. Well-known as an excellent from

of stress relief, martial arts inspired workouts also improved strength, aerobic fitness

and flexibility. The variety of movements used in kickboxing can sharpen reflexes

and improve coordination and balance. In addition, this type of exercise burns an

average of 500 to 800 calories an hour, as opposed to the 300 to 400 calories

typically burned by the average hour-ling step aerobic class.”
